Four years ago we built four computer systems for model shop in Portsmouth and also installed an EPOS system for the Model Shop on a dedicated server running Windows XP Pro, since then we have had to recover and rebuild these PC's to keep them working, due to the very dusty conditions in the shop the PC running EPOS stopped working due the processor and fan being clogged up with dust, In Jan 2012 we upgraded the shop EPOS to the latest version and also had to upgrade the two shop PC's running the EPOS tills from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Pro, both PC's had to be stripped down to remove the dust before adding new memory and upgrading the power supplies see image below.
